Hong Kong is a city close to our hearts - the place where the story of Nudient began. We come back every year, not just because it’s where many of our partners are based, but because it’s become a part of our rhythm. Each visit feels familiar, yet never the same. Almost a decade into the journey, we’ve refined our routine - a balance of work, discovery,
and moments that remind us why this city still feels like home.
This guide focuses on Hong Kong Island, where we spend most of our time - a place of contrasts: active mornings, long dinners, quiet corners, and late nights.

We stayed at Tuve Hotel in 2023, and it remains one of the most striking hotels we’ve experienced.
The minimalist design, raw materials, and quiet refinement create a space that feels both grounded and otherworldly - a reflection of the city’s own balance between chaos and calm.

A favorite from our last few trips. Minimal design, floor-to-ceiling windows, and views that make you forget time. Day or night, it’s spectacular. If heights aren’t your thing, maybe skip this one.

Sunrise Hike — Victoria Peak
Start at 5AM. It’s steep - a near 45° incline all the way up - but the reward is unmatched. Reaching the top, drenched in sweat, as the city wakes below you is a moment we never skip. Be there by 6:30 to catch the first light. You’ll remember it.
Cold plunge at The Gym
Right after the hike, this is where we go. Two minutes in the plunge, five in the infrared sauna - repeat three times. The perfect reset before the long day (and night) ahead.

The place to find something truly authentic to bring home. Wandering through the stalls feels like stepping into a time capsule - artifacts that tell stories of Hong Kong’s and China’s past, each one a small piece of history waiting to be rediscovered.
JC contemporary
A bold architectural statement nestled in the city’s art hub. The gallery’s sharp lines and daring curation make it one of the most memorable art destinations we’ve visited - a space that challenges, inspires, and stays with you long after leaving.

Tucked along the antique-laden lanes of Lascar Row in Sheung Wan, Halfway Coffee captures the perfect balance of vintage charm and modern calm. Sit outside with a book or your laptop, sip your coffee slowly, and let the atmosphere of the antique street carry you away.
Fineprint
At Fineprint, we savored some of the best coffee beans we’ve ever tasted — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. It’s also a great spot for a casual brunch before diving into a day of exploring the city.

A French-style bistro that keeps it simple: one dish, steak frites. Decide how you want it cooked, enjoy a few drinks while waiting, and let the evening unfold slowly. We went home early that night - trekking plans were calling the next morning.

The place where Nudient was born in 2016. Still one of our most-visited spots. It’s an Izakaya where every dish is chicken - and every bite hits perfectly. Go for the meatballs, the chicken neck, and the thighs. Stay longer than planned.
Shugetsu (Central)
Our go-to lunch spot. Michelin-starred ramen that never disappoints. The Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki Tsukemen is the order - always.

A perfect place to start the night. Blue Supreme sits quietly in SoHo, serving an impressive selection of draught beers. It’s the kind of spot where you drop in before dinner, settle into the atmosphere, and let the evening take shape.

Named the best bar in Asia - and perhaps rightly so. The energy is effortless, the cocktails are on point, and the pastrami sandwich is nothing short of perfection.
Orchard
A hidden speakeasy that feels cinematic. The quiet street outside gives nothing away - then the door opens, and everything shifts. Amazing drinks, incredible staff, and that rare sense of being exactly where something special is happening.
Le Jardin Soho
Unusual in the best way. Furniture from what looks like the 16th century, staff dressed to match, and a signature drink that feels like performance art. Order the Strawberry Daiquiri. You’ll understand.
